From El Águila — high in the mountains of Valle del Cauca, Colombia — comes a cup that speaks quietly but leaves a lasting impression.
A blend of Castillo and Colombia Supremo coffees with one lot of Catimor, grown at 1,500–1,600 meters above sea level and processed through the traditional washed method, this coffee lets the bean’s natural character shine with precision. Sun-dried slowly under free exposure, it carries Fair Trade (FLO) certification and is roasted at origin in Colombia.
What’s in your cup:
Expect a delicate floral fragrance that opens into warm caramel on the nose. The palate finds gentle sweetness — panela, herbal undertones, dried fruits and chocolate — balanced by a bright citric acidity and a medium, smooth body. The finish is clean and sweet, exactly as a well-crafted washed coffee should be.
